Object Handling

How many people can attend - Maximum of 12 delegates.

Overview - This half day course will train staff in the skills of safer object handling. Suitable for any staff member that has to move inanimante objects within the workplace.

Course includes

• Identification of Manual Handling problems
• Legislation and Policies
• Back Care, in and out of work
• Risk Assessment
• Principles of inanimate load handling
• Practical exercise in inanimate load handling

All courses offer a problem solving forum to enable staff to focus on “real issues”.

A certificate of attendance will be issued on successful completion of the course.
