People Handling – Update Course

How many people can attend – Maximum of 8 delegates.

Overview - This is a half day update course for delegates who have previously attended either a Standard or Premium full day course.

Brief revision of:-

• Legislation
• Back Care in and out of work
• Risk Assessment
• Falls and Condemned Techniques
• Safer Handling Principles

 

Demonstration and practice of safe techniques including:-

• Chair Manoeuvres
• Bed Manoeuvres
• Small Equipment
• Hoisting
• Use of other equipment
