Manual Handling for Therapists
These courses are aimed at Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants, for whom the moving and handling of people is a part of their every day working life.
We have 3 courses currently available:
A course covering all aspects of Manual Handling along with providing delegates with the skills and knowledge needed to prescribe equipment, balancing the client’s needs and preferences against staff safety.
A course covering a thorough overview of the legal and theoretical issues underpinning current best practice whilst ensuring plenty of time for using safe practical techniques with relevant Manual Handling Equipment.
This workshop is aimed at physiotherapists, occupational therapists and rehabilitation assistants involved in using manual handling as a tool for rehabilitation.
