Certificates will be awarded to delegates who successfully pass a written and practical assessment on the last day of the course.

Detailed Description

A four day intensive course which will give delegates the knowledge, and practical skills to teach others to handle people safely and to carry out manual handling risk assessments. For a maximum of 12 delegates per course.

The course is interactive, and the teaching style varies from formal lectures to group work and practical hands on techniques. Certificates will be awarded to delegates who successfully pass a written and practical assessment on the last day of the course.

All staff who have responsibility for the health and safety of staff who are handling people in their daily work . Staff must be fit and well to participate in the practical element of the course, and should dress appropriately, and wear flat sensible shoes.
